Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Financial Specialist
(Collections) to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the collections team to meet productivity and
quality standards while assisting with training and coaching
Manage patient accounts, including handling credits and denials to
reduce A/R aging buckets
Submit appeals for insurance denials and send corrected claims
according to payer guidelines
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in healthcare collections, specifically
back-end collections with payer denials and appeals
Experience with Medicare and large payer mix
Proficient in Excel
Lab collections experience is preferred but not required
Ability to work a scheduled shift from M-F, starting as early as
6am PST
