We are seeking a competent and results-driven Snr. Director of Preconstruction to lead all preconstruction effects in the thriving South Central Texas region.As a key executive team member, you will be instrumental in driving profitable growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional value to clients. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Vice President, as well as cross-functional teams of estimators and schedulers to identify new business opportunities, develop winning proposals, and ensure successful project execution.Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive preconstruction strategies aligned with the company's strategic vision.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue high-profile projects, leveraging your deep industry expertise and strong relationships.
• Team Management: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of preconstruction professionals, acting as a true mentor.
• Financial Performance: Oversee the financial performance of preconstruction projects, ensuring profitability and maximizing return on investment.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with future project activities, including cost, schedule, and quality.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the preconstruction department.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. But, not essential.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in preconstruction, with a proven track record of success in leading complex bidding activities with success.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and manage financial performance.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the skill to motivate, inspire, and mentor team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal characteristics, whilst being driven to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial construction markets, including industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
