seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team Radiology
Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:
- Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely
manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient
Center. - Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex
Operating Room diagnostic and interventional radiographic
procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. - Provides
technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. -
Completes established competencies for the position. - Operates
imaging equipment, C-Arms, O-Arms, prepares examination rooms, and
maintains equipment, supplies, and medications. - Produces high
quality diagnostic radiographs throughout the patient care areas to
include but not limited to: OR, Urography, open reductions,
myelography, arthrography, and placements. - Assists practitioner
with fluoroscopy, arthrography, and OR procedures. - Practices
proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed. -
Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed. - Maintains
accurate QC logs, service records, etc. - Practices medical and
surgical aseptic procedures. - Investigates promptly and follows up
on unusual incidents and communicates with Manager/Director. -

Required Skills:
Education: - High School diploma or equivalent - Graduate of
AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology - Graduate of a 2-year
accredited school of Radiology Technology Licensure/Certification:
-Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologies
(ARRT) Certificate -Current & Active Medical Radiologic
Technologist (MRT) General License -Current BLS certification

Required Experience:
Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years' experience specific to
surgical/diagnostic radiological exams - Experience using C-Arms in
an Operating room - Must possess independent decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects - Excellent
communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and
families - Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in
a professional way - Ability to utilize the Electronic Health
Record for patient documentation
