Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas.About the PositionThis role is responsible for implementing, educating, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety regulations at Cook Children's Medical Center.The Radiation Therapist will work closely with the Department Director of Radiology and Medical Physicist to ensure the safety of staff, patients, families, and visitors.Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing radiation safety programs
• Providing education and training to staff on radiation safety protocols
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborating with the Department Director of Radiology and Medical Physicist to ensure radiation safetyRequirementsTo be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
  • A Master's Degree in a related field
  • Certification as a Radiation Therapist (RT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • Experience in radiation safety, including radioactive materials
