Job Description:
A company is looking for an AVP, Corporate Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Legal Department to address legal and risk
issues
Negotiate and draft vendor agreements and assist in contract
management
Support regulatory reporting and litigation management
activities
Required Qualifications
Juris doctor degree from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the appropriate state bar
association
3-5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law
firm
Broad legal knowledge in corporate, commercial, and contract
law
Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial
services preferred
