Job Description:
A company is looking for an Overnight Screening & Information
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Assess the needs of Helpline users via phone, online chat, and SMS
texting
Provide information and referrals to substance use, gambling
disorder, and related services
Engage and motivate users to follow through on referrals using
active listening and motivational interviewing techniques
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of related experience in Substance Use, Recovery, Problem
Gambling, or a bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience in information and referral services or customer service
required
Good computer skills and experience with online systems and
databases
Willingness to work with consumers who may be ambivalent or
impaired
Two years of sobriety for individuals in recovery preferred
