Join a growing division of a leading MGA (Managing General Agent) with strong financial ratings and the support of an international holding company and act as the Assistant Vice President of a brand new group focused on allied healthcare professional liability risks.

Must be willing to take on the challenge of being the first person hired in the newly created Allied Healthcare group in a major insurance company! This is a fantastic growth opportunity with the chance to grow an entire division from scratch.

Responsibilities:

*** Establish and expand an underwriting group focused on a book of business including: Physicians, Hospitals, Medical Spas, Surgery Centers, Pharmacies, Home Healthcare, Medical Imaging Labs, Walk-in Clinical Laboratories, Hospice Care Facilities, Individuals involved in therapy including social workers and dieticians, nursing homes, etc.

*** Develop, maintain, manage, and grow a book of business.

*** Identify, target, solicit, and negotiate new business opportunities.

*** Establish and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers in the region.

*** Grow the underwriting group and expand it into a profitable division.
