Summary:
Provide Vice President-level advisory services. The ideal candidate
will possess deep expertise in anti-money laundering (AML)
compliance, regulatory advisory, and risk management. This role
will focus on supporting AML program activities and providing
expert guidance in responding to Office of the Comptroller of the
Currency (OCC) examinations.
Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in AML
compliance, providing strategic advice and operational support to
ensure the organization's AML program aligns with regulatory
expectations.
Lead the preparation and management of responses to OCC
examinations, including drafting responses to regulatory findings,
addressing inquiries, and managing remediation efforts.
Provide advisory services on AML policy development,
implementation, and enhancement, ensuring they meet or exceed
regulatory requirements.
Evaluate existing AML program components, including transaction
monitoring, customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence
(EDD), and suspicious activity reporting (SAR), to identify areas
for improvement.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across Compliance, Legal,
Operations, and Risk to ensure effective communication and
execution of AML-related strategies.
Conduct reviews and assessments to identify gaps in AML processes
and recommend actionable solutions to address deficiencies.
Develop and oversee project plans related to AML initiatives,
ensuring timely and successful delivery of objectives.
Required: A minimum of 10 years of experience in AML compliance,
with a focus on financial services and regulatory advisory.
Demonstrated expertise in managing and responding to OCC
examinations and other regulatory inquiries.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. AML laws and regulations, including the
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, and related guidance.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and enhancing AML
programs, policies, and procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional
teams.
