Apply to become a part of the MMC Team!Job RequirementsSMB Managed IT Services - Sales Solutions Consultant - Dallas, TXOur client provides comprehensive solutions for managing documents, improving workflow, and enhancing the bottom line of over ten thousand customers nationwide. This is an opportunity for you to help customers with a comprehensive suite of services including helpdesk, server management, 24/7 network monitoring, backup, cloud computing, vCIO services, and cybersecurity.Responsibilities:

  • Attends initial and ongoing training on Company products, the Company business, and effective sales techniques; retains and applies skills and knowledge learned in training sessions.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers/clients and proactively develops new customer relationships through several avenues including cold calling, telemarketing, networking events, referrals, and organized lists; travels throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to solicit current or future opportunities.
  • Manages current customer clientele providing monthly/quarterly reviews, best practices recommendations, areas for improvement, status reports, service reports, and leasing/service contract data.
  • Evaluates customers' business scenarios, qualifies customers' needs, and develops solutions utilizing core competencies of the Company including hardware, software, and services.
  • Works closely with clients during all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to both clients and potential clients; develops and maintains relationships with multiple positions within the organization.
  • Responsible for meeting objectively set sales goals determined by Sales Manager and Branch Manager.
  • Maintains all data regarding sales calls, forecasts business and customer files in the Company provided CRM according to standards set by the Company.
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate personal and corporate goals.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained, and coordinates all follow-up.
  • Estimates delivery dates to customers based on knowledge of the Company's production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Maintains a personal calendar and keeps it updated on a daily basis.
  • Maintains a neat, groomed businesslike appearance at all times.
  • Maintains valid driver's license and state minimum auto insurance.
  • Regular physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
    • Must be polished, personable, highly organized, punctual, and capable of effective, efficient multi-tasking. Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident with a strong desire to succeed.
    • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
    • Information technology, software, and associated business application certifications preferred.
    • B2B Sales/Business Development experience required.
    • Information technology or related IT/Phone Systems or software Sales experience preferred.
    • Experience calling small business owners & executive level decision makers highly preferred.
    • Fundamental understanding of consultative, solutions sales process.
