CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a 1 year contract opportunity with a reputable hospital organization in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers the chance to contribute to critical financial operations while working within a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a Sr. Accountant, you will manage key accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, maintaining balance sheets, generating financial reports, assisting with audits, and overseeing month-end/year-end close processes.

Position Details:
--- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
--- Pay Range: Based on candidate experience
--- Contract Duration: 1 Year w/ possible ext. depending on business needs

Key Responsibilities:
--- Prepare and manage journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheets.
--- Generate accurate financial reports and support audits.
--- Conduct month-end and year-end close activities.
--- Maintain and update general ledgers.
--- Collaborate with team members to ensure financial data accuracy.

Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
--- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
--- Proficiency in complex accounting processes, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
--- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
--- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
